Taco Del Mar

I don’t often waste my time reviewing national chains unless they are exceptional, I had the pleasure of visiting this location. The staff expertly handled an abusive anti mask customer (Covidiot) but then provided excellent service despite being rattled by the previous customer, I joked with them while they prepared my meal which was done to perfection, my meal was fresh, tasty and the portions were great! Excellent value for the money! While enjoying my meal with my coworker we watched while customer after customer (obviously repeat customers) were dealt with respect and almost “small town neighbourhood” friendliness I was quite impressed by the professionalism and courtesy demonstrated by these two ladies! Very well done! I’ll be back!

I'd like to give a 5 star rating since it's good food and service but the random closing times are getting out of hand. It's understandable to wind down a few minutes before the end of your advertised closing time, but a full hour? Closing time Monday is advertised as 10pm but here I was a few minutes before 9pm and told they're closed. Worse yet, I've been coming most Monday evenings at 9pm but the staff member tonight - not the regular one from last few weeks - said to come back another night . Like I said, good food and normally great staff but disappointed advertised times can't be relied on.

Ordered through skip the dishes at 5:15 PM on Monday Jan. 31. Order went through, but the store was completely closed when my driver arrived to pick up the food, despite the hours of operation showing it closes at 9PM on Mondays. I called the location and there was no answer as well. Now I have to deal with customer service for Taco Del Mar and Skip the Dishes to get my money back. Don’t go to this restaurant

Great experience last I went. The girl there was helpful and patient with me as I went back and forth asking my girlfriend what she wanted since she was looking after our bike and scooter outside. She smiled as this was happening and even giggled at the amount of times I had to go back and forth. This was also close to closing time so she was working by herself! Hard to find staff with good attitude like that at a fast food place to work by themselves!

Ive been coming to this location for over 5 years and i can safely say its gone downhill. i realize there is a pandemic going on but i went in today the food tasted bland. there was no seasoning on anything, the rice, beans, salsa etc.. there is no excuse for this happening. Yes i can understand a shortage going on when it comes to certain things but its not that hard to go to save on foods next door and buy some seasonings. such a disappointment. wont be going back. ++ they also increased the prices by a considerable amount.

If there's an option to give 0 star, this Taco Del Mar located at 11020 No. 5 Road in Richmond, BC will certainly receive this great honor! I went there because of a Mobile Bandit coupon. Upon arrival, I ordered a burrito and went to pay, and they refused the coupon. The staff was well trained to quickly point at an old, dried and curled up small strip of paper saying "No Mobile Bandit". I understood that the owner wanted to generate businesses by advertising through different platforms, but at least honor what you promoted. This had become false advertising. I went there only because of the coupon. I had a quick read of "Mobile Bandit Inc Merchant Agreement and Terms of Service", there's a clause under Merchant's Obligations saying "At all times during the term of this Agreement or any renewal or extension hereof Merchant shall: honor and fulfill each Deal Offer posted on a Member Site in accordance with the terms stated in such Deal Offer."
