Bubble Waffle Cafe

I will give zero stars. Very rude old lady with glasses (who refused to give me her name), the food portion has gone down big time as you can see in the picture (hainan chicken in laksa soup noodle), the most gross bubble waffle (the lady refused to remake another one because she said they all look the same). The lady had made about 20 drinks in advance, left on countertop, so don’t even bother customizing, she won’t make a new one. I also had 2 stamp cards that I wanted to make into 1 but she refused that too. I don’t understand how they stay still in business.

It’s the first time I’m here. Ordered “Three spices chicken rice (三杯雞飯)” and below you can see what I got. Told them that’s “Salt fried chicken rice (鹽酥雞飯)” which is wrong…Their reply was “No, that’s Three spices chicken…”. Honestly I tried the taste to confirm, the fact…really is Salt fried chicken…not to mention it tasted very dry and cold… Feel like being lied to, and they refused to give what you actually ordered. Ordered less ice for the drink and ended up with half cup of ice… Definitely not giving it another chance. Regret of not looking at the google review before ordering here.

The food is disgusting. The service is useless, and clearly can't figure out how to count. Front counter told me that they are working on 65 which comes before 66 (me). Meanwhile they serve multiple people who ordered after me. It wouldn't be so annoying if their food was half decent. Look at the image. This is what you call Hianese Chicken? Please...

Order an iced lemon tea today. I have never gotten a lemon tea with practically no lemon slices. The drink had only 1 full slice of lemon, then another half or just lemon rind. It was basically just sweetened black tea, and it costed $3. I will not be back to this location for this classic simple drink.

The reviews don't lie, this is *THE WORST BUBBLE WAFFLE LOCATION IN RICHMOND*!! Lid on the soup container wasn’t on right. Major facepalm. And obviously, customer service doesn't exist here which is fine but how can the same franchise have such awful tasting bubble waffles?! They were cold, soggy and looked like they had mold in it (see for yourself in the photo)- SO GROSS! What a waste of my money!! TIP- ALL the other locations in Richmond have 10% off when ordering thru the app, Lansdowne does not.

I used to like this place before but when I ordered my usually (fish noodle soup with laksa base), it taste bland and I didn’t see any fish on it. It’s all processed fish balls inside and there’s more veggies than noodles. And their waffle is soggy as well together with iced tea taste like water-sugar. So disappointing. Maybe that’s my last order that will be made.
