Not sure why the average reviews here but this place was delicious! We’ve been searching and craving dong an chicken and it was tender and had a nice citrus taste to it. The smoked tofu and pork dish was also really flavorful. The smoky flavor really soaked into the food and the dish had plenty of tofu and pork

An interesting range of spicy dishes, complex flavoured dishes ranging from lamb, rabbit, to clams, crab and fish. Good friendly service. Prices are on the higher side but they offer several unique dishes not found elsewhere.

We went there during lunch time and it wasn’t as busy.
The food quality wasn’t as good as I expected from a concept store specializing Hunan cuisine. The clam was salty and rice was bland. The chicken was soft but tasty. The cake had no ube flavour at all. The soup tasted savoury.

Food is good but not very impressive. Ordered crab congee the other night which is worth it.
Need to mention there is a waitress, a bit rude and ignored us when we needed to get water or order more food

Food was so delicious! Love the chicken and the bamboo shoots. And of course the fish is the highlight of the meal! So glad I visited this little gem!

The good:
I feel like their food is a mix/fusion of all the different Chinese cuisines. Food tastes really good, hardly have had any bad experience.
Comfortable seats, but a bit weird layout, more like a cafe.
Service is usually not bad.
The not so good:
Price is definitely ridiculous. I understand Richmond has lots of rich kids, but still I personally feel it’s very overpriced.
So with the price tag, you would expect some really awesome food presentation; but kid you not, the presentation makes you feel like you are eating at home; not in a restaurant which charges you $30 for a dish.
Anyway, I like their food, but I feel ripped off every time I dine here. 😂
