It was such a wonderful experience coming here. They were attentive and helpful. Our food came out in a very reasonable time frame. The fries were amazing. They also seem to make a lot of the food from scratch which makes it even better. I know I was hungry when we ate there but we did love what we got. It was everything a restaurant used to be.

Great variety of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. Wonderful food, friendly staff. Had a gyro platter. I chose french fries and Greek lentil soup as my sides. French fries because I knew I wouldn't be able to eat everything and it would travel well. Absolutely loved the soup! You could choose beef or lamb for gyro, I chose lamb. Perfection. My table picked 3 desserts to share. Unfortunately can't recall their names, but each a definite Greek option (like not New York cheesecake). Recommend your table doing this too! Go enjoy!

Very meh, but the servers were nice. My water glass was refilled promptly and I dropped my napkin & it was replaced immediately. Nice atmosphere & clean!❤️Food: Gyros need more sauce, the French fries weren’t crispy, & the lentil soup was watery. Fried mushrooms tasted exactly the same as the ones at a bowling alley. Loved the salad dressing!

The Owner a d staff are really nice people that serve with a smile on their faces. The gyros are good.

Great food and service. For such a small and café like setting, I was very impressed with the quality and taste. We tried the pita fries, the tomato dip, the chicken souvlaki, the gyro dip sandwich, and the fish and chips. Everything had the right Greek seasonings, and the pita bread that was with the meal seemed made in house and very fresh. Our server was taking care of all the other tables as well as us, but she did a great job. One of the owners was also working, and he was incredibly friendly and talkative. To finish our meal, we tried the triple layer chocolate cake. The crumb was a little dry, but it had good chocolate flavor, and the icing was rich but not too sweet. When we visit Roanoke again, we will definitely be back. They do change up their menu quite often, so I'm excited to see what they will have the next time we are there. If you're craving Mediterranean food, this is the place to stop. They have classic Greek dishes, but if you're not feeling as adventurous they also have classic American fare too. Complimented by a full bar, Athens Corner Grill can satisfy your hunger for Greek and Mediterranean food.

Our server (I didn't catch her name,) was incredible. She said she had been there for 6 years, and quickly answered every question I had. She was extremely knowledgeable, and I hope the fine folks here make sure she stays with them. Generous portions. Proper gyro meats. A really great experience. I will happily go back.
