Burger King

Sad to say this place was a poor reflection on the BK chain. My salad was made up while I waited, but it was only lettuce and tomato with crispy chicken and bacon. It was very salty but not very flavourful. The place was dirty, out of ketchup and napkins. The server and my boys satisfaction with their burgers saves it from a one star review.

I went yesterday for a quick lunch with my four children. As soon as we walked in, we were kindly greeted by a man out in the front stocking up the drink area. He quickly made his way behind the register to take my order. He was extremely polite. While eating, I observed the way he handled EVERY customer that walked through the doors with care and kindness. I noticed that he looked everyone in their eyes, and he went out of his way to ensure a pleasant experience. I do not leave a lot of reviews, but I felt that he deserved to at the least get a pat on the back for his effort, but surely someone with his dedication and people skills should be utilized in an upper level management position. We asked his name on our way out, and it was STEVE. GREAT JOB STEVE! FYI to whomever was supposed to be maintaining the the women's bathroom, my daughters said it was absolutely disgusting...

First, I would like to say I never go out of my way to make a review, even a bad one, but this was by far the worst fast food experience i’ve had. From the time I entered the drive through and left, I had waited over 30 minutes for a slushee and a 10 piece chicken nugget. I was asked to park out front after paying and ended up having to go in to get my food. The employees here are far too high to even know what’s going on, I was definitely not the only upset customer. I am disappointed in how awful this experience was because I generally love Burger King’s food.

The restaurant was completely dead when we got there. The manager was loitering in the parking lot with some shady characters. We made a very simple order of 2 Whopper Jr meals and a 10 piece chicken nugget. The cashier couldn't figure out how to use the register and had to go out and get the manager, who seemed ticked that she had to come in. When our order was finally placed it took ten minutes for the food to come out even though we were the only customers there. My nuggets were missing the sauce so I asked for it. The guy at the counter tried to charge me extra for them. When I explained that they were supposed to come with my nuggets he actually took the time to find the store copy of the receipt to make sure I ordered nuggets. The whole experience was very frustrating.

Always horrible. I would never visit this location if my kids didn't like Burger King so much. They can never get the order correct. Most times they leave something out of the order. Associates need training in customer service or " how not to be rude and obnoxious". Obviously they need some trained leadership. I know it is difficult to find people who want to work in the food industry, especially fast food. I think it really is a matter of supervision and training. Someone needs to be the Captain and steer the boat! I know it is possible, I have never had an issue with McDonald's Vinton location, obviously they have a Captain! Most other McDonald locations are heads above with promptness and service compared to Burger King in the Roanoke, Salem and Vinton area. Someone in this organization needs to understand they have problems and hire someone who cares if the company is successful. Set the expectation, train, train, train and make it happen!

Went in with my family and ordered food. First off it took a while to get the food. Then when we got it, I ordered a whopper with cheese, no onion, no lettuce, extra pickles, and asked for it cut in half. Everyone else's food was made as it comes. When I got my whopper it was full of lettuce and onions and had no cheese and no pickles and was not cut. We sent it back and they remade it. The second one comes out and it still has no cheese had no lettuce had no pickles had no tomato and was full of onions. And it wasn't cut. We sent it back again, and the manager rolled her eyes at us and mumbled "oh my god...again." which was very rude. When they sent the third whopper to me they had the toppings right but the whole thing including the patty was ice cold and it was slipped together and very messy. We asked for a refund and the manager wanted to argue, told me that she needed the whole burger back in order to give a refund. Eventually after at least 20 minutes of arguing she gave me a refund for a small whopper meal minis the cheese. Which was wrong because I paid extra for cheese and it was a large meal. I told her I wanted the number for the district manager or the corporate number and she REFUSED to give it to me. The store was also not very clean. My recommendation is to not go to this burger king.

I would love to know who owns this establishment. This is quite frankly the worst fast-food restaurant I have ever been to. The staff are incredibly rude and honestly appear to not care about their job. The last time I went through the drive through I was simply told "no" when asking for an item off of their menu. I have lived in the area for years and every time I have been to this particular Burger King the experience has been infuriating. I would be ashamed to own this location.
