Arisu Korean Restaurant

We eat out a lot and this is one of our best experiences dining out. The food was absolutely delicious. Very generous portions (we had a lot to take home) The extra side dishes that come along with your mains are very surprising and just as tasty. They have put the food together really well to compliment your taste buds. Great customer service very friendly people. If you enjoy international dishes this is a place you must go to. Thank you very much. We will definitely be back again!

Have tried few Korean restaurants over the years when I am on holiday in Rotorua and have been very disappointed as I couldn't find any decent one until I came across this Arisu Korean restaurant this week. I am so glad I did. The new owners(husband and wife) are very friendly and attentive. Overall, very impressed with the food. The side dishes are also very nice as my son especially loves their kimich. I was there with my family for dinner two out of three nights. Highly recommend if you are after a good Korean food in Rotorua. I will surely be back next year when I visit Rotorua again.

Amazing food and customer service. The side dishes were bought out as individual dishes instead of being a "Shared buffet" which I loved. The owner was very attentive and always checked if we were okay or needed anything topped up. Very friendly, will and have recommended this place to a few different people already. This resto should be listed in top 10 Trip Advisor's where to eat in Rotorua. Service from the heart, the owner were very friendly and warm. He noticed i finished my kimchi within second and offered a top up for free, yeay! About the food, we ordered K-BBQ combo. We previously just about to eat Sundubu soup because we dont eat pork and the BBQ comes with soup that we can't eat. The owner then offered us to order the K-BBQ with no pork, and changed the soup tailored to the combo to our favorit Sundubu. The combo size was massive for us, more than 5 different kind of Korean pickles and appetizers, steamed rice, soup, 3 types of meat (normally chicken, beef and pork), 3 types of veggies & mushroom for the BBQ. Fresh, delicious and so many of it, it felt like a food carnaval in your mouth.

We came on a Tuesday evening and had a wonderful experience at Arisu. Almost had the entire restaurant to ourselves until another couple came. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and the place is very spacious and clean. We ordered the $29 unlimited bbq and sides. The bbq tasted amazing especially the beef bulgogi. The Doenjang stew was a bomb! Had our stomachs filled to the fullest. A place worth visiting. Will definitely come back to Arisu!

We have been there for my gf’s birthday and was absolutely great. I heard they have just opened recently so I’m glad to be there at the beginning of the history of the restaurant. The guy took care of us at all time and he gave us some extras. We definitely recommend to visit there. Pic is the meal for 29 dollars per p
