Outstanding service, food and wine selection. They serve French-inspired creative world cuisine. It is a casual chic kind of place, with midrange prices, but so worth it. The location is a little puzzling, as it is not a charming and picturesque area at all. It's still the city center but among ugly post-war buildings. You would have to go way more upscale (and expensive) to find anything better in Rouen. This is THE place. Don't go, run. Note: it's open both for lunch and dinner, which is great; but closed on Sunday and Monday.

Finally a good restaurant in Rouen ! Le 37 is definitely the kind of place I was longing for. Located on an unassuming street the French eatery doesn't disappoint. The food is creative and well executed without being too fussy. I had a savory tart topped with grilled vegetables and shrimp, then the fresh catch of the day with a side of creamy herbed mashed potatoes, and, to top off the dinner, an exciting version of the traditional French toast topped with roasted plums and almond filling, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Service was was very professional: polite and efficient. A very pleasant experience.
