Love the back to basics of this Covina. Good food and the tamales are worth waiting on. Haven't been here in years and nothing changed-thats awesome. The pricier places are mostly location, decoration, and dried up food for mus h more money. Do yourself a favor and eat hear. I had a beer mug the size of my head.

SALSA AND SERVICE! One way to judge a Mexican Food Restaurant is the quality of the salsa they serve and Mi Ranchito's salsa is fresh and tastes great. I love tasting the fresh cut cilantro and the chips always come out to the table warm. I have been coming to this location for over 15 years and have had many meals here. The volume of business they do is truly amazing and they always seem to have enough employees as the food comes out quickly and the service is great. The have specials several days a week and my favorite dishes include; Mexican Chicken Soup with Chicken, rice and avocado, Taquitos, Tacos, and Chile Authentic. The place is quite large and can handle big parties and if there is a line it moves pretty quickly.

If you haven't had Mexican food here, you haven't had the best Tex Mex food ever. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant the whole of Missouri has to offer. I say that with full confidence because each time I've visited it has only made me fall in love with it even more!! All their foods are fresh, piping hot, and full of flavors that will take you to Mexico without paying 90% of the airfare. They serve chips as soon as you enter with salsa and you can always ask them for a refill. The restaurant is huge and the servers are quick. This place never fails and deserves every bit of attention because it is simply that good. I fell in love with Mexican cuisine after eating here and not Qdoba. 🤪

The best Mexican food I had this year!! I had the spinach tomato cheesy burrito . Also the chicken tacos on a soft shell!! My first thought of the tacos were they look dry.. once I bit into it …….baby the juice and flavor was bursting in my mouth. The spinach burrito was so so delicious!! Of course I ordered some peppers!!
