We had dinner here before seeing a show in Kirkwood. This was our first time eating here and loved it! I have to eat gluten free so had the salmon and it was delicious!! My fiancé had the pasta with clams and said it was really good too. I would recommend eating here whenever you're looking for a nice place for dinner!

The medium rare here was perfect. Andersen (sp?) is a great server; knowledgeable, everpresent and responsive, but not intrusive. The host (likely also the owner (didn’t catch his name, but know that he was once a runner and now prefers bicycling due to his knees - mine aren’t great anymore either) is a great conversationalist and friendly to all guests. I also saw him teach a waiter a new (to the waiter) method of opening a bottle of wine. The old fashioned and the Moscow mules are great.

First time, happened to be in the area based on reviews we stopped for dinner. We enjoyed linguine and clams, Ribeye medium rare. Service very attentive.

I was there for an association luncheon attended by approximately 30 people. The lunch was excellent, and the bread pudding dessert was amazing! I highly recommend Sunset 44.

Family owned and operated upscale restaurant in downtown kirkwood. The owners make you feel like part of the family. The staff make sure you’ll always want to come back. Great drinks, food and atmosphere!

We had a lovely evening for our company department Christmas party at Sunset 44 Bistro. Carrie was easy to talk to and walked us through all of the options. Food was great! Room was great! Servers were great! There was a miscommunication about needing a wall or screen for a presentation. Just make sure everything is clarified ahead of time to prevent any last minute changes. They corrected it seamless and effortlessly. Everyone has a wonderful evening!

Amazing food, staff is even better. The quality of the menu and the staff justify the higher prices. I definitely recommend coming here for special events or catering, that is where the Menendez family shines. Possibly the most under-rated brunch in St Louis.

Visited Sunset 44 for our wedding anniversary! Our first time there! We had heard good things and it was even better than anticipated! My husband had the pork tenderloin which was so good! I had the salmon with veggies and that was delicious as well! We also had the brownie pie which was super yummy! Service was awesome! Highly recommend!!
