Nova Cafe

We had a wonderful meal on the patio. Food was tasty and well made and the atmosphere was fantastic. Great for a casual meal and talking with friends without having to yell....peaceful for outdoor dining on a nice day....update...friendly staff, we are inside today, the aromas are almost as good as the food, very inviting.

I do not know all the details since I was not the one who called, for what they did for my brothers wedding was above and beyond. The food was great the time, help, and suggestions was the very appreciated. On top of this all they set it all up and let us barrow restaurant dishes. We couldn't of even done what cafe nova staff did for us our selves even for the price at a grocery store.

I am a huge fan of this place which is why my most recent experience was so disappointing. I made a reservation for a large party of 12 for lunch last weekend. We were seated for 15 minutes before anyone came to welcome us or take our drink order (someone had to go seek out a waiter) although they were not that busy. Once we ordered it took about 30 minutes to get our food and three people in our party never got their food. When we asked about it, the waiter seemed surprised but about 10 minutes later it came - but the orders were wrong. At this point the rest of our party had finished and many of them had left. We received no apology or offer to fix the orders. When we went to pay, we asked that at least one of the entrees be deducted from our bill, which they ultimately did but not without pushing back and making us feel like we were wrong to ask. Seriously! Three of the members of our party did not get their food until everyone else had finished and yet we received no apology, no offer to make it right, and were made to feel bad for asking to have one of the meals comped. I don't know that I've ever been chastized at a restaurant for something that was their fault and I didn't appreciate it at all. Again, I love the food and have had no issues previously, this incident really shocked and disappointed me.

~*The outdoor area is super cute and inviting. I really loved the food. The caprese salad and salmon bruschetta were great. I really liked the mushrooms. The samosas were good but not what I expected. Very light, pastry type breading. The service was good but slow. They were pretty busy and seemed too be a bit short on severs. They specialed a sangria that was not good. It tasted like cheap wine and grapefruit juice. Would recommend clarifying if it’s a red sangria or what when you order. I assumed it would be a red. It is definitely worth checking out.*~
