Bagel Factory

Just moved to STL from New York and I was really excited to try this bagel shop! Their bagels were just how I expected them; Soft and chewy texture that crisps up nice around the edges when toasted. It’s a cash only business so be sure to bring your dough for the dough. The owners were very nice as well. They had a nice selection and the seasonal flavors were tasty too (pumpkin and apple cinnamon). I was a little surprised to not see any everything bagels though! I was also impressed that they threw some plastic bags in to keep them fresh for later. While nothing will be a bagel from home , Bagel Factory of STL made home feel a little closer. I’ll be going back for sure.

Best bagels in St. Louis and the closest thing you’ll find to a NY bagel. Cash only and you have to get there early or risk them running out of certain varieties. If you’re partial to the loafs of bread Panera tries to pass off as bagels, this place won’t be for you because apparently you don’t like bagels.

Very good bagels…(cash and checks only). Good variety to choose from, including many varieties that most other area bagel shops do not offer. (Although, I do wish they carried a whole grain bagel for special diets). They provide bags and twist ties to separate your own bagels at home to prevent various flavors from intermixing, or for freezing some…and they have individual portions of cream cheese, jelly, and beverages at an additional cost, and napkins and plastic ware for free if you need them. “Day old” bagels are sometimes available too at a reduced price. Friendly staff, fair prices, easy access, good location. I suggest giving this Bagel Factory a try! I think you will be glad you did!

Best EVER!! I'm from the east coast and these bagels give me life when I'm homesick. I forgot that they only take cash but they told me to pay them later. I was shocked, but had a check and they took that. I decided to bring my daughter while she was in town because I had moved out of the area awhile ago and wanted her to experience a really good bagel. Now she can't wait to move back home so she can get her bagels there.
