Always happy with my to-go orders from Sauce on the Side! The salads, especially the BBQ ranch dressing, are so good! I add pesto chicken and chorizo to my salad every time. My husband loves the calzones and the Buffalo chicken bites!

This is a great place to go and enjoy a delicious calzone. I usually get the hot mother clucker (pictured) while my partner enjoys the Meat me in st. Louie. We both like it well done. And I always prefer to dine-in as opposed to take out because it's just so much better when it comes out hot and is still a little crispy. The atmosphere is roomy with cool mural art, however if it's cold outside it'll be cold in there because the door opens and all the air rushes in and sitting on metal chairs may have you wearing a winter coat while eating...so come wearing layers...or sit behind the wall away from the main door. We love this place and will be back soon.

Great meal. Takes a little longer than pizza to come out of the oven but worth it ;) for a vegetarian option, sub the meat for mushrooms. They also do gluten-free calzones for an extra $4.

The calzones are out if this world! They put a hole on top in the middle. You dump your sauce in here and it spreads through your entire calzine! Portions are huge! Bring your appetite! Staff will happily explain everything to you. Excellent choice of beers and craft sodas. The ambiance of this older building is warm and inviting. Make this a stop on your next trip to St. Louis! We'll be going back!

This was my first time ever going to sauce on the side. The staff was super friendly. They also gave some amazing recommendations. I personally got the magic carpet ride (mushrooms, cheese , garlic) absolutely delicious. Even had left overs!

Sauce on the Side offers a wide variety of speciality calzones. The building and facilities are immaculate. The staff is friendly, engaging and efficient. The food is very tasty. The atmosphere is casual.
Overall, this is very enjoyable and I look forward to my next visit.

What a great place to eat for any occasion. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and food fantastic! We decided to try out I'm anticipation of the new Edwardsville IL location opening up later in the year. We are incredibly excited for what is to come. This place was a nice place to dine with coworkers. The guests were nice, the food was hot and tasty and the desert topped everything off. I will definitely be coming here again!

We have a large family (5 kids ages 12 years old to 8 months) and we had a great experience. The staff were friendly and the menu was fun. They also had some great adult beverages and desserts. For desserts, the s’mores calzone was our favorite.
