I stopped here after reading an article about this being the best local sandwich shops. When I got there there was already a small line out the door which is how I know that the article was likely true. I was glad that when I got my sandwichs the Classic Italian and the Ham and Swiss and I can agree this is one of the best shops in town. I think part of the reason for the line is because the meat and cheese are freshly sliced once you order your sandwich which means it takes a little longer, but I definitely feel like it was worth it. I also got the lobster bisque and it was good as well I'm excited to go back and try more off their menu.

First off great atmosphere in here and it was great to see some old classmates from school. As for the sandwich i got. I haven’t had a better on in Saint Louis. They got me right with a hot pastrami & roast beef with a specialty sauce. I inhaled it on my lunch and cant wait to head back in and get another one. Keep up the good work!! Au Jus was top tier as well!

I can't believe that I didn't know this sandwich shop existed in a shopping plaza I have visited regularly. They have been there since 2001, longer than I have lived in St Louis County. I loved their meatball sandwich on garlic cheese bread. The meat, cheese, etc on my companion's sandwich was an inch deep. They customize to your liking, even on their standard sandwiches, plus there's a build your own option. Go early. We went on a Thursday at 11 and in 15 minutes there was a line. By 11:45 there was a line to and out the door. True some were socially distancing, but it's popular with folks because of the quality of the food. I can't go every week, but this will be my go to sandwich shop. The restroom was quique and very clean. Limited hours and limited seating are the only drawbacks that someone else might find, but not me.

Normally I’d say a sandwich is a sandwich, whatever, but this place has the most amazing delicious sandwiches. Even though it was busy and there was a line, the atmosphere was very relaxed. We ordered the classic Italian and the Buffalo chicken. They asked if we were picky and we said no, so they added some extras for us as well. I’m not sure what magic they did but it was delicious! Many of the customers in front of us asked what the workers recommended and they always went with it. Super knowledgeable and clearly enjoy what they do. We also got a cup of the lobster bisque, potato soup, and a chocolate chip cookie. I think you could order anything off the menu and you would not be disappointed!
