Alpha Brewing Company

We stopped by alpha brewing yesterday and both the beer and food did not disappoint. Their beer menu featured many light sours, which is my favorite style at the moment, but also included other typical styles. The beers we sampled were very good. They offer 5oz tasting pours as well as full pours so you can try more selections. They also had several flavors or seltzers on tap. We stopped in for a beer on the patio but decided we needed to sample their food as well, which was a good decision. We had wings with Tassies dry rub, which were large and flavorful, and original shoestring flies which had a unique but great flavor. We also sampled a pickled veggie appetizer with featured carrots, bok choy, brussel sprouts and radishes. This was a great find and we will be looking to stop in again soon.

We stopped in Alpha Brewing for a bit after reading some positive reviews and it did not disappoint. The beer list featured many might sours, which I prefer, but also had other varieties, as well as several different seltzer flavors. We grabbed some wings with Tassies dry run and original shoestring fries and they were outstanding. The wings were huge and flavorful. If the rest of the menu is up to that standard then I can't wait to try some more. For an appetizer we have pickled radishes, carrots Brussel sprouts and bok choy, which was unique but still good. The outdoor patio was very nice and it is dog friendly. I will be looking for a reason to go back.

This place has the best food of any brewery I've been to. I've been to many all over the country. The menu was diverse and interesting. Pickled apples, jicama and radishes. You don't see that everyday. The smash burgers were great. Fried pickles also great. French fries were excellent. The service was equally as good as the food. Very fast and polite. The beers were good, as I would expect, but the food was really on another level. I don't live nearby, but if I did I would make this a regular spot. I was really impressed with the space as well. It's not in a very upscale part of town, but what they have done with the building is very cool. Highly recommend if you're anywhere near St. Louis

This was my second time coming here to see BongoJak vs The Loop Machine! The food was delicious, the portions are pretty large! I had the loaded fries & a Tassie's Rootbeer. Even though it was busy, they were extremely fast, very short wait for the food to come out! Tassie the bar cat is adorable! Dog friendly patio with water bowls. Two outdoor seating areas, indoor area, family friendly, board games, live music, great staff, & easy parking!

I definitely recommend Alpha Brewing! The atmosphere is fun and inviting, with plenty of seating options both indoors and out. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable! I really love that they offer cocktails too! It's the perfect spot to unwind after a long day, catch up with friends, or just sit and enjoy a great drink!

Alpha is hands down my favorite brewery in STL. Their standard menu beers are all great. I recommend the Boat Beer for easy sipping or the Fyler Flyer if you like Belgian blondes. The rotating items are a lot of fun especially if you’re in the mood for big flavors and fun fruity combos. Call it a shameless plug, but their Sipster program is a great deal if you like an excuse to hit the bar every Monday after work. Not only do you get half priced pours, but you also get stamps for every beer you order that can earn you swag and even a keg party at your house. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, and there’s always something going on, whether it’s trivia, live music or meat bingo. Definitely give Alpha a shot and enjoy a cold one for me!

Loved this brewery, as someone who loves sour beers, their sours are incredible! I love how unique a lot of the wine barrel aged sours are. Also appreciated how we could make the flight as many beers as we wanted to try all the sours! Super friendly staff and great atmosphere too. Was visiting from NY but would be here all the time if we were local and will def return next time we visit!
