The food never disappoints. It's with great sadness that most of the locations have closed, so when we are near south county, we make a point to pick up sandwiches and salads. As in plural.

Got the baked mostaccioli with meat balls. And a gerber pizza. 1st time getting the gerber pizza. I gotta say it was darn good. This food brings me back to my childhood and fills my belly and my heart. Service was quick and the counter guy was very nice.

Used to go to Ruma's Deli at West County Mall in the 1980s as a 10 year old kid. The Prosperity sandwich is even better than I remembered! Loved watching my 12 years old play the 1980s style video game Ms Pacman and Galaga. Still 0.25¢!
Thanks, Ruma's. I wish there was an IL location.....but this was well worth the drive.

Went to Ruma's Deli and ordered the Gerber Special (open faced ham sandwich with melted garlic butter and St Louis Style Cheese). This was my first time trying the Gerber Special. We drove home before we ate it, we should have eaten it right when we got it so that was user error. Looked really good though!

Been eating to Ruma's for almost 50 years. I love the hot sandwiches (Gerber & Prosperity), and the super. The Rich Boy brings back memories 'cause that's what mom & dad would order for us when we were kids.

Love rumas! Have been going here for years. They have the best sandwiches, pasta, and salads! My favorite are the Gerber and Prosperity. The workers are always very friendly and give great customer service. If I could give 100 stars I would!!

Saw this on a YouTube video so decided to stop in while we were passing through. Wife wanted to give it three stars, I’m all right with four stars ….the Gerber sandwich was just so-so… but the prosperity was amazing! I guess St. Louis kind of has a different term for sandwich, because it’s definitely a loosely use term here.The cheese was amazing, toasted to perfection. Just wish the Gerber had some sort of seasoning or something. It was pretty bland.
