The tacos are delicious and unique. Service can be really hit or miss (reason for 4 instead of 5) though.

Their food is made fresh to order and the puffy taco is SO good and it's huge. I ordered the veggie taco (potato/pea mix) and another just salsa, tomatoes, cheese and lettuce and both were delicious! Can't wait to go back!

Puffer tacos are AMAZING. Try getting one of each, in chicken. The TAMALES are to die for - so authentic. This was a visit home to Albuquerque, NM. Will definitely be back!

Never heard of Fort Taco until I was offered a buy one combo entree get one free. So we gave it a try, and we loved it!! Very fulfilling, good, and satisfying!! Will definitely be back!!

Their puffers are, without exaggeration, one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I crave them. I need them. I can’t get enough.
My favorite is the chipotle beef puffer. Be sure to add cilantro, onion, sour cream, and hot salsa!

It's too bad there aren't more locations in or even near St. Louis. ALL of the food items on their menu are great. The employees have always been friendly. Fort Taco also has a punch card. The more visits- the more free food or drink. Don't forget to ask for one while you are there. This is a drive-thru only restaurant. My suggestion: Give them a try! If you haven't already.

Got the 2 puffers combo beef and chicken. That hit the spot. The mild salsa adding some good flavors, but the Chipotle stole the show.

First off, this isn't Taco Bell. It's authentic mexican meals, served quickly for a great healthy lunch. It's not the cheapest in town, but it's miles above all other fast food chain restaurants. Today I ordered the #1 Puffer Meal. That's 2 puffer tacos and a drink. The tacos were loaded with toppings making them about 1/4 pound each. That's plenty for me. I'll be going back soon, considering this meal was excellent.

Surprisingly good. Authentic Mexican food. No microwaves or freezers on premises so everything is cooked to order. When I pulled into drive thru she asked if it was my first time and explained all about the puffy tacos and the menu and salsa choices. I had a puffy taco and an enchilada with beef in it. Chicken taco was EXCELLENT and the "enchee" as they call them was kind of dry and I'm not a huge fan of ground beef, I like shredded personally. But it was a lot of food! I couldn't finish it. I'll definitely be going back! Plus, bonus for me, they have Pepsi products (not Coke!)!

Nice looking puffers and they taste sooooo good the bonus of this place is they will prepare your food while your ordering, everything is made fresh, the ground beef is 100% beef. The shell is a home made dough, I hope you check them out and have the same experience I had.
