Pi Delmarva

Went Vegan about 2.5 years ago and hadn't been to Pi since. Returned recently and was pleasantly surprised by their vegan options from the vegan cheese option to the vegan Italian sausage meat substitute option. Oh and that Kale salad is da bomb. Think this means I can officially add Pi to the list of restaurants with legit tasty vegan options.

We went here for dinner on our honeymoon night and were not disappointed! Our waitress, Katy, was incredibly awesome! The deep dish pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had! Katy even surprised us with a special dessert to celebrate our honeymoon! Check this place out if you want awesome service and incredible pizza!

I came here wanting some good deep dish pizza and that's what I got. My first time here and my first impression was that of an old time pizzeria with a modern twist. We sat and were almost immediately waited on. We ordered a 12 inch deep dish pepperoni and bacon pizza. I was not disappointed in what I expected; a good deep dish pizza. Lots of sauce topped the pie, which I loved. We ordered the pizza with fontina cheese along with the mozzarella but I couldn't tell the difference. Maybe that was on me. The sauce was a little on the sweet side, I like my sauce more spicy, but this was easily fixed by adding the pepper flakes that sat in a jar on the table. The chunky tomatoes were nice. I could definitely taste the bacon but the one thing I really wanted to taste, the pepperoni, just seemed like it wasn't there. I found exactly 3 half pieces in the two slices I ate and my wife found none. It was as if it got lost in the sauce. Our waiter was prompt at removing our dirty dishes and bringing the check. The place seemed a little noisy to me but I can handle that since the rest was mostly enjoyable. The only reason Pi gets 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of pepperoni. I will gladly give them another chance to make that right. Oh yeah, the pizza was $23 for a 12 inch large. Well in line with what you expect to pay especially since it fed the two of us and we took the rest home.
