This place is great. Chill vibe, good shows, and nice people from all walks of life. Huge local beer selection plus your usual domestics. The liquor selection has some unique picks and a great selection also. They sell pizzas from local spots for a nice price and they're always delicious. They now offer a locally made gluten-free vegan option pizza that will blow your mind even if you don't normally eat vegan.

I absolutely love the Heavy Anchor, it's been a south city staple for awhile now. It's a great bar to hang out at, and has a nice patio you can hide out on to get away from the noise.
Great selection of drinks, including a solid NA selection. The only draw back is I feel prices are a little steep compared to some other local bars I hang out at.
All in all, a solid bar with a great vibe and good selection of drinks.
