The cafe gets crowded fast. The menu is right in front of the doors. Pick up the menu, decide on the food item, then join the line to order before getting a seat. The wide array of breads and cakes are on display. The cafe has a laid back vibe. It is a perfect place to eat and chill with friends over coffee and food. I had the chocolate croissant, berry croissant, and Nutella cruffin to-go. The croissants were good. It could be more airy and flaky though. The Nutella cruffin was good. The Nutella filling in the cruffin was of perfect amount. Finding a parking spot could be tough but there is a big paid parking lot just a short walk from the bakery. I would visit the bakery again to try other pastries.

You'll soon quickly learn why there is almost always a line to get it. La Panadería is a perfect mix of traditional Mexican pastries with a modern take. The servers were all very kind and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is awesome. I can't wait to come back!!

First time going and it was great! Sunday morning around 9ish, the line was out the door! It wasn't a long wait, though. We got in and ordered our sweet bread, so many yummy options! We ordered breakfast as well and paid. We picked our table and they brought out our food. No sticky tables for they clean them as soon as you walk out the door. The restrooms were clean and well stocked as well. I do recommend this place, the food is amazing and the sweet bread is even better! My sweet bread stayed soft and good for days after, I left it in the paper bag they gave it to me in.

Absolutely loved this place. Fantastic breakfast. Thier breads are one of the best I have had in a very long time! Service and staff were also exceptional! I am definitely coming back for other goodies.

This place has been on my list to try for a while now! If you go, dont be intimidated by the line. It goes by very quickly! The bakery that you pass when you’re in line is so tempting. You can smell the freshness and it lures you in! They have the best matcha latte I have ever had! Their Cuban breakfast sandwich was our favorite.

I was absolutely gobsmacked by this place. We'd heard of it from word of mouth as well as searching online, but having the actual food was a whole other level. Absolutely amazing. 6 stars. You can't use the same scale as other places. We made the mistake of tasting our baked goods before breakfast, as well as all ordering the same thing. We should have boxed the baked goods to go and ordered different things to share. It was plentiful and, as I mentioned, absolutely delicious. Whenever I return to San Antonio this is a guaranteed stop, line or no line.

I’ll say this is one of the best restaurants around San Antonio Texas …. I got there around 11 and waited in line for about one hour to get in but it was worth the wait. It’s decore I’ll say that it was nice. Service was fast and friendly. Food tasted good a little to spicy but good. All dessert or pan Dulce was delicious 🤤 I wanted to try them all. I’ll say the best was the orejas and pan de muerto. I’m not from San Antonio but next time I’m around for sure I’ll be back.

Loved it! The reviews don't lie! I got the Tequila Croluna French Toast with eggs + bacon. It was delicious! Never thought a croissant covered in sliced almonds used instead of bread for French toast would be good, but it was! Hubby got the Clasico French toast & subbed the croissant for sourdough bread. He loved it! They don't skimp on the fresh berries + cream like other places! We did ask for extra syrup because what they gave us was a tiny amount. The ambience was perfect! There's something to be said about a restaurant with beautiful details everywhere you look. It usually means they didn't overlook the quality of your food, too! 🙌🏼 We came on a Friday morning around 10:15am & walked right in. The wait wasn't long at all. They were busy, but kept the line moving at a good speed. Good food + good service takes some time so have a little patience! It'll definitely be worth it! 👌🏼 I wish California had this restaurant! 🤍

Best breakfast and pastry place we've tried in San Antonio. Don't let the line discourage you from trying this place out, the wait is definitely worth it. Our server Leo deserves some special recognition as well, He was extremely nice and attentive.

During our recent trip to San Antonio, we came across this gem after conducting thorough research. Despite the substantial line that demanded a 30-minute wait to place our order, the food we received was undeniably worth every moment of anticipation. The portion sizes were generous, and the flavors were simply exquisite. Each item we tried left our taste buds thoroughly satisfied. Without a doubt, I highly recommend adding this place to your must-visit list.
