Los Balito's Taco Shop

Went for a late lunch/early dinner. We ordered a chimichanga, enchiladas, and a California burrito. I was surprised at how big the chimichanga was, couldn't quite finish everything on my plate with the size of it. There was a good variety of salsas and some grilled onions. The restroom looked and smelled clean. I would recommend trying this place, just know the portions are huge.

I have nothing bad to say about this place. I’ve been here about 30+ times and every single time, I get the Mini Tacos with Asada. It is absolutely THE best street tacos I’ve tasted in town. I believe the “Ranchero” sauce puts it over the top above others. The service has been great each time at multiple locations and mainly the after hours spot here at Embassy. I DJ near by and get hungry from time to time. Keep doing what you’re doing!

Wow! I was recommended by a friend after seeing him eat his stuffed fries with cheese, jalapeños, guacamole , etc…. It was amazing I had to go get myself an order. spent less than 10 minutes and spent under $10 a great deal. They were making my food fresh! Will definitely be back again. Not just this exact location but los balitos everywhere in San Antonio 👍

Always come here forever!!! Lol this place has the best Cali-style burritos. Try the steak a la Mexicana burritos. This is Mexican comfort food to the max. One of my favorite parts is the salsa bar! This is a great date idea. The tripas are also good because they make them crunchy. Another plus is that it's open 24/7 😫😁

Telling you right now - this place is underrated and so freaking delicious. They used to be open 24hrs a day but covid put a stop to that and now most nights they close at midnight. Still excellent food, still excellent service. When you walk in to an establishment like this and absolutely no one is speaking English, know you’re in the right place. These people know what’s up when it comes to all things tacos, enchiladas, asado, relleno, etc. They have it all and they will not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and get here NOW.

This spot is great some days and just ok others. We love the salsa bar because we don’t have to wait on the server to get those for you (just the chips). Breakfast is usually great but it was slight soggy today and the chips were a little stale. The coffee, asada and potatoes were tasty during today’s visit. It’s an awesome place for late night tacos but nothing out of this world for brunch!
