Subway's? never heard of her LOL, In Need of a hero?, then look no further than Blimpie! Great customer service, reasonable price range or at least better then most places, 3 cookies for a $ 1.00, very friendly, and very helpful as well. If you find yourself near downtown or if you're visiting the Alamo in San Antonio, Texas and in need of a sub then look no further than the inside of Rivercenter Mall. It's right next to the Riverwalk and a great place to visit. The price range is very good better than most places I've been through in Texas. If you have a Pacific Way in how you like to prep your sub then feel free to let them know. Don't be afraid to ask to put your bun in the oven first so that it'll give it a good crispy crisps taste without heating up your tuna, because I like to have my tuna sandwich cold and the Buns toasted and on the other hand You might like to cook it your way... so feel free to ask how you would like to prep your sub. So Please, give Blimpie a visit inside the River Center Mall. You will not be disappointed, enjoy yourself and have fun.- COWBOY PREACHER

I recently went to the Blimpie's in the River Center Mall in SA. I had a taste for a cold cut sub and didn't want to go to the nearby Subway. I got what I think was the Italian sub. I didn't get a receipt. The worker was competent; the sub was delicious. I didn't care for the attitude of the other worker that manned the cash register. I have a problem with the tip jar at the register, also. I worked fast food as a teen and didn't expect a tip once. Minimum wage was $4.25/ hr when I started! If these workers work for their tips, then tipping should be encouraged. If they work for a standard non-server wage, then the tip jar is inappropriate and insulting. That doesn't effect someone giving a tip of his or her own free will, however. Because of the tip jar, I won't be going there again.

We like Blimpie but don't have any close by where we live. So we always make it a point to stop when we can. It was late evening but we still got fresh sandwiches. Server was very friendly and professional. Only thing keeping this from being a 5-star rating is my wife had to hunt the server down in the store after waiting a few minutes at the counter.

Big selection of stores lots of nearby locations to check out, has a theatre, most of the food court is raunchy rubbery Chinese food tho. I play it safe at the taco bell... Homeless people will try to get money from you occasionally but its nothing too serious, place is pretty and yet not too posh for my taste
