I've lived in San Antonio my whole life and these are the best tacos I've ever had.

The food is excellent and authentic, and prices are not expensive. Atmosphere is a humble, down to earth small cafe that seats about 20 people. Service: although the young ladies are very sweet and capable, there was a lot of forgetting stuff like, tortillas on one order, rice and salad garnish in another order. We will be going back, as I cannot resist the enchiladas and puffy tacos.

Breakfast tacos are really good. Carne guisada and cheese, bean and bacon, and chorizo and bean were all very delicious. My compliments to the chef!

I love this place... They have the good cheese and there red salsa is the only salsa i want... Its spicy w good flavor... I Will eat another taco just to put the red salsa on it... Not good w chips just tacos but there ranchero salsa is good w chips... Favorite Mexican restaurant...

Tacos were pretty good! Price is about average to restaurants nearby. Only complaint is the outdated restaurant. That’s it. Needs to be repainted and nice decorations.

A very small "hole in the wall" place with a Mexican border town vibe. The flour tortillas were thick and fluffy on the breakfast tacos. Prices are relatively cheap, too.

I was told about a Dallas family owned hidden restaurant in the east side. They told me, "you won't be disappointed". We tried the menudo...OMG!!! It was superb! We tried the caldo de restaurant, another great hit. And then we tried porkchop Ranchero plate, another very tasty and well cooked plate. We will definitely be returning to try out breakfast.
