I've visited alot of Panaderias and this is one of the few that I can tell they are baking fresh items daily. All the bread items are soft, moist and fresh. Cookies not so much, they're very crumbly, but I guess that's how they're supposed to be. I just prefer then to be softer in the center so they're not falling apart when you bite into it. I recommend the cream cheese filled conchas and the pink cake. Yum. This is our new go to spot for fresh pan dulce

I'm from Mexico, so to find a bread that is similar is hard, but this bread is so good. We drove 2o minutes, so once we got home, my daughter had a pice, and she said that it was worth it

Fresh, friendly and always a delight! The shop is as warm as their pasteries and greetings. I love Mayra's bajery, they always have an array of goods from soft, to chewy, to crunchy and all levels of sweetness in between! A lovely pick up on my way home from work!

We visited this place several years ago, and my husband mentioned if I remembered the name. I looked it up, and we made plans to visit. Once we walked in, we were immediately greeted with a smile and a hello. The display was FILLED with a variety of cookies, sweet bread, mini donuts, and more. I was trying to maintain my excitement as it reminded me of going to the bakery with my mom.

Had some really delicious Mexican Sweet Bread out at Mayra's Bakery (Panaderia). I have to say that this bakery probably has the best pan dulce in San Antonio, Tx at the moment. Every cookie and piece of bread we ordered was absolutely fresh tasting and delicious. Lots of selections to choose from. I highly recommend you try this place.

Been here 19 yrs in San Antonio and tried other places and nothing comes close to Mayra’s . My first time here and I won’t go anywhere else as of today. The bread here is so fresh , soft, and taste is amazing

Tasty Pastry Treats. If you speak and/or understand Spanish, ordering will probably be a bit easier. If you don't, no worries. With so many options filling it's four large display cases, as long as you can point and you pay, you will be walking out one of the two front doors with a sweet bag(s) of sweet, yummyness.

Award winning and well worth it. Definitely a gem in Kirby and they have some of the best mini donuts and cinnamon twists you could imagine. It doesn't stop there though they have pink cookies and every piece of Mexican sweet bread you can imagine. HIGHLY recommend as they are a staple and worth every penny 👍
