It’s a good cafe in San Mateo. Their beverage and foods are nice. Also, the WiFi is okay (not so high speed, but stable). The staff members are okay, and a rest room is clean and nice. If you want to study or work in San Mateo downtown, it’s a good place. I recommend that place. When I went to there, I ordered a green tea and coffee cake. They’re both nice.

Best cappuccino in San Mateo ! They also have other really good coffee + pastry ! This coffee shop has great European vibe and a good place to have meeting/ interview/ study/ hang out with friends and enjoy the live Jazz show at night of the weekend! There is one thing more to mention: the barista knows how to make good coffee and very lovely and friendly to customers, they will even remember your favorite coffee and pastries. Always feel good coming here !

Good place for a quick bite, working, meeting up with someone or a glass of wine, but really terrible coffee and those who work there don't seem to know how to make it properly Edit (in response to owner's response): I don't believe that I mentioned anywhere in my review that "all the five star reviews about the coffee" are wrong, whereas mine is right. Best croissants around + a good variety of treats and lunch options. Spacious seating and late night alcohol. This is my favorite coffee shop in San Mateo. If you're planning to sit down, the French Press coffee is top notch. Loose tea for those who don't need the coffee. The breakfast croissants are wonderful and rich.
