This is the best location to sit back and enjoy the view! Hands down they have the absolute best clam chowder ever!!!! It's one of the reasons I keep returning here. The fried clams and scallops are very delicious too!

The smallest French dip in Santa Barbara, (with soggy fries for $14.45), and maybe in my life! Creamer cup shows how small it was and with very little roast beef. My husband has been coming here his entire life but we will never go back. Horrible tourist rip off. I'm a chef and should have sent it back.

This is a favorite of our late parents. We went the morning after my dad’s memorial for one last family breakfast. Our folks ate breakfast out nearly every day for over 60 years. Traditions and memories ❤️

Location, location, location. Overlooking the commercial fishing fleet on the patio is hard to beat. This is an American diner, with diner type food. You won’t find the latest food fad here. You will find some of the best clam chowder in SB. Great salads and burgers. After a day (or two) at sea, it always hits the spot. Speaking of Spot, they even have a fur friendly menu. Admittedly it’s priced a bit higher than one would normally expect. But try and see the activity in our harbor from Denny’s.

Atmosphere nice, service (Roger) good, food well let's say the clam chowder we're still looking for the clams but nice flavor and consistency. Fish & Chips, well let's say for the location we expected fresh and not frozen and pre made. Fries, can you say limp and not crisp.

An excellent option that has plenty of tables outside with a view of the harbour.
We found the service to be prompt and professional. A good range of classic seaside items to choose from and a decent amount of red and white wines to choose from either by the glass, or by the bottle.
I had the classic clam chowder in a sourdough bowl. The clam chowder was hearty and the sourdough bowl had been baked exactly as it should. Very tasty.

My strawberries and cream waffle was delicious. Everyone loved their own variety of the Breakwater Special. The staff were all attentive and helpful. The view doesn't hurry. We'll be going again soon.

Love this great harborside restaurant. Breakfast on the patio is great and the view of the boats is sweet,! I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict for breakfast, they serve breakfast till 2 p.m. on the weekends. For lunch they have a fantastic Louis salad with shrimp and crab. This restaurant is casual, and very family-friendly.
They have ice cream in waffle cones to go. If you have a group it's a great place to gather.A easy first start to explore the harbor!
There is a large paid parking lot. The Maritime museum is right next door with other restaurants and shops.Continue down the harbor and you walk the breakwater.
Went for Mother's day and some of the regular staff have left. Prices have risen but the quality is still good and you can't beat the location.
