Claim Jumper Restaurants

Just another awesome experience at Claim Jumper. We typically have a good experience and this was no different. The casual, rustic dining experience in a well-kept and extra clean environment makes for a relaxing end of day meal. The entrees (Shrimp, Grilled Chicken, Lobster Mac, Chicken Tenders, and Pot Pie) were all equally delicious - but the Lobster Mac is such a treat. And dessert was just as satisfying with Carrot Cake and Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie. As someone who is not a huge fan of carrot cakes in general, I say in earnest that CJ's is a must-have. Overall, another great experience. Even though they employees seem to be short-staffed, they do their absolute best to provide excellent service. If you are someone who needs extra attention when dining, just go a bit earlier in the evening.

I'm so sorry I couldn't give this Claim Jumper less than one star. I will start by saying that the service is good. Now to the restaurant. Basically all chandeliers have rips in them ( as shown on pictures), dead wasps and flies in the windows, spider Webb and dust on spotlights. No this is not clean. Now to the food. I can actually say that this is the worst food I had in years . Meat had to be sent out because it was really over cooked and tough. Veggies was cold and not edible so that had to go out too. Felt like I got an old plates veggies. Mac and cheese with lobster. The sauce is not creamy and don't cover the food, it's in the bottom of the plates. Lobster? Not good. Very chewy. We were asked if we want dessert, but decline because I do expect it to follow the earlier dishes. Over all, no.... just no. I do not recommend this restaurant even if it's the last place on your trip. And please remove signs that you as a customer have to pay 3% extra regarding to higher prices. It's just offending for you as a customer. Please just include it in your prices. Welcome to the rest of the world. I got a new steak, and veggies. The manager came to the table and I gave the same review to her. And as I said, the staff and service is great. Update: 3.13.2022 email sent to company same day after request (see review response from Claim Jumper) and so far no interest of answering email or get in contact despite that that was their wish. So in my eyes is just to try to keep up appearances when getting a bad review. Even worse behavior than getting a bad review.

I would have given them a five star review, but due to staff shortages, it took quite a bit of time for everything tonight except getting seated which was within 5 minutes. The food; however, was very delicious as was the dessert. I had the grilled shrimp and the rest of the party had the pot pie, lobster macaroni and cheese, grilled chicken and chicken tenders. Dessert was carrot cake and cheesecake with strawberries. Everything tasted yummy. I was; however, disappointed to learn they are no longer part of Landry’s.

It's a clean place but I am not a fan. Menu items were not appetizing. I ordered the spinach dip which was okay, nothing special. For the entrée I ordered the fish taco with parmesan onion rings (picture included). The menu said cheese for the taco which I thought meant shredded white cheese but I was wrong; the cheese was slapped between the two dry tortillas. Sauces were on the side (unexpected) however I'm glad because one was gross (the one next to the ketchup). The onion rings were decent but soft and kept falling a part. Overall, it was an experience.The food was okay, I wouldn't go back. I'm not saying don't go to the place but I am saying you won't catch me there again. Waiter was adorable, it's rare that I see an older gentleman but loved it!! To Claim Jumper: stop with the water please. It was weird to be served something I don't ask for at restaurants. Literally wanted cups of water (my friend didn't want it either). Also lemonade needs a bit more sugar and sweetener, you welcome😁👏🏾.

Not as good as it used to be. The quality of food was pretty poor. The Clam Chowder was luke warm, watery and salty, the tri tip dinner was medium rare which was good but seemed like it had been sitting for a while. The cheese sauce on loaded potatoes and loaded baked potato had an odd taste. Like it wasn't real cheese. The southern fried chicken was excellent and our top sirloin was cooked perfectly. Of the four entrees we had they were definitely the best items we had. We didn't finish our meals aside from the steak and southern chicken but on the way out we ended up ordering dessert togo after our meal (absolutely love the chocolate cake and carrot cake) and our togo server/cashier was amazing and very helpful. Our server was also very polite and friendly so no complaints with the staff.
