Summer Roll Restaurant

Ordered for delivery this evening. It took an hour and 15 minutes even though the man who took my order over the phone said 45 minutes. The food made up for the time it took to get here. Not far from the restaurant. We ordered the Mushroom Foo Yong, Fish (4) & chips, Chinese Chow Mein and an order of Mings Garlic ribs. Food tasted fresh and hot. Highly recommend the Mushroom Foo Yong & the ribs. Foo Yong is very fluffy and texture is soo juicy and full of Mushroom flavor. Ribs have a salty & sugary exterior and not dry!

So very saddened at the quality of food served from here. This used to be the best place in the city and although I have heard a lot of negative reviews I thought I would give them a shot just to make my own opinion. Such a dissapointment, my meal was horrible, I ordered dinner for 1A and there was a load of rice, horrible quality chow mein and only 5 pieces of sweet and sour pork. This was the worst meal I have ever received I had to throw it away, honestly i hate wasting food but i could not eat this. Sorry Mings, there are so many other good places that charge way less than this for better tasting food.

I'm updating my second review. The egg rolls were delicious. I am replacing a review from 3 years ago. Mings Kitchen is good again like it used to be. We bought $86.50 in food tonight. Worth every penny. So tasty. If I could make any complaint it would be the egg rolls have a more Chinese flavour. I liked them myself but my wife didn't. She doesn't like egg rolls from most places. We are going to order from here regularly again. Delivery took 33 minutes during a busy time and a snow storm.

Wow!! I'm so excited about this place! Let's help local restaurants! I have to say the food is very tasty. Lots of choices and plenty of it. We order the dinner for four option B and it was amazing! Shrimps, noodles two kinds of rice, ginger beef... so good! We really need to support local. The owner was friendly and took our order to the car!!

I just ordered delivery and the lady taking the order was friendly, upbeat and easy to understand. After ordering i was given a 45 minute wait and it came in under 40 minutes. The food was delicious!! The fried shrimp were fried just right with just a hint of the oil it was fried in and the chow mein was exactly how i like it, cooked perfectly and full if items to eat! I was quite happy with everything from start to finish and i will order again and reccomend to others.

Awesome food! Always has been! Hope they do just as well at their new location on 2nd Avenue!! Keep an eye out for their 2 for 1 deep fried shrimp deals, they're the absolute best shrimp in the city!! Fast, decent pricing and always delicious! Oh, you can usually find the specials posted on Facebook 😉👍
