Lick Pure Creamery

This place is giving Molly Moon's a run for it's money. Fun flavors, excellent quality, and the guy behind the counter is friendly and hilarious. He doesn't always share ingredients but the samples flow freely. The only problem with this place is the tiny tiny venue. Best ice cream on the hill, however.

We are visiting Seattle from Kansas City and found Lick via GroupOn so we decided to give it a try. This place is amazing. The owner, Michael, gave us all samples of each of his flavors (all of which are really unique and delicious) and talked and laughed with us while we decided what to get. Go. Go now. You will not be disappointed.

Lick Creamery is a great place to go on a hot day (or a hot date)! My partner and I went to Lick to celebrate the gorgeous weather on the 4th of July. There the proprietor, Michael, gave us a tour of the Lick's custom ice cream flavors before dishing up "M2" (some sort of dulce de leche/toffee/roca hybrid) for her and "Tropical Island" (a pleasingly tart citrus-strawberry ice cream a la sherbert) for me. Both flavors were outstanding! Our scoops weren't expensive either, given the high quality of the ice cream ($3.50 for a single). We'll definitely be returning soon to Lick to try out some of their other flavors!
