I’ve been dining here for several years, including with a group of “foodie” diners. It’s always excellent in every way. On long light days you can enjoy the view over the sound to the mountains. It’s stunning. And so is chef Toshi’s innovative and delicious cuisine. It’s the best Japanese fusion I’ve ever had. I could eat there everyday!

Wonderful atmosphere and views. Friendly and talented chef. Delicious food and drinks. The building itself is rather hard to find as it has only a small sign. 💯 recommend this place and look forward to dining here again.

The food was exceptional! The octopus, the salads, the halibut with asparagus!! Everyone at our table of 8 had a memorable, delicious experience. The service was impecable and the view was breathtaking. What more can I say? Oh! Definitely get the desserts- try all of them! Thank you iconiq!!

New Year's Eve Dinner last night. Wonderful tasting menu. Well composed with a balanced range of flavors, portion sizes were generous, black truffle add-on was reasonably priced, and the desert is one of my favorites because it was light, not too sweet, refreshing and well composed to the eye. Finally, the price to value for this meal was the tops in Seattle. We surveyed the various tasting menus for the New Year and none came in at a better value. Oh yea, don't forget the killer views of the city. Iconiq is located in the Mt Baker neighborhood so it's a bit off the beaten path but I would recommend it strongly.

Great dinner! We went there with friend’s recommendation for a celebration and it didn’t disappoint. Seasonal menu’s on-point and their infamous truffle risotto was a must. We hadn’t had a luck for last 6mos or so finding a restaurant worth paying for, and they were definitely worth it!! Cozy and elegant atmosphere, great service, and AMAZING food. Definitely will be back for more.

I hesitate to leave this review for fear that a hidden gem will be revealed to too many. The fusion between Japanese flavors and French technique and process has ruined my palate in all of the right ways! A glass of Roche Noir was enhanced between each and every bite. The baguette was delicate and set up the tender care that each forthcoming dish had to offer. As a starter we began with the Compressed Watermelon Salad, a superb blend of watermelon, cucumber, arugula, goat cheese and croutons. The intention of the saltiness of the croutons complimented the sweet watermelon so well. Now…let this be a warning, the flavors of the Neah Bay Patrale Sole Meunière and Oregon Rib Eye Wasabi Herb Butter walked a fine line between sustenance, culinary art, and sinful pleasure. IYKYK. Each bite was a delight with the final dish of the night. The Peach Melba dessert. The care and time that Chef Kawai and his Sous Chef put into his dishes creates an experience that anyone who enjoys food must try. We sat at the bar with a view…a special little place that the chef called his favorite seat in the restaurant. Thank you, Chef. I will return.

Very unique experience, Chef Kawai (the owner) really put a lot of creativity into each dish. Ingredients and dishes are seasonal and even the most unexpected combinations taste amazing! Lots of cars in the area, so street parking might be hard to find. The entrance faces the street and the restaurant name is on the door, so it's not very hard to locate. With the unique creativity and seasonal ingredients, it is definitely worth visiting throughout the year!

Foie gras risotto is beyond amazing, as in I don't have the right words to describe my experience. The Filet Mignon was one of the best steak I've tried this year, and the fried Sweetbread was an interesting combo. Last but not least, the Burgundy Truffle Ice Cream was the perfect way to wrap up the meal. Skip the appetizers and order 3 entrees to share! I can't wait to come back for the foie gras risotto again...soon!!

Great restaurant in a quiet place. The restaurant has 6-7 tables with a sunset view. Food is totally depends on the menu you got. Sometimes it just great, but we ordered 2 entrees and felt just in average. The salmon appetizer is the best and must try. Drink is a little bit expensive and they seldom serves by glasses.

I was fascinated! I didn’t expect the dishes would be SOOOOO good! Iconiq is now my favorite restaurant in Seattle. Chef and Owner Toshi made sure that we could get seated in the dining room since we called to ask the day before. Although I told him it was okay for us to remain in the front room since the restaurant was full that night, Toshi-San insisted to change tables for us after we enjoyed our Starters. We ordered soy-onion gratin soup and crispy Spanish octopus for starters. The onion soup was so creamy and cheesy, it was literally the best onion soup I have ever had. I do not like onion soup before but this made me started to enjoy it, amazing! The octopus was my favorite dish of the night. It was so crispy on the outside but tender on the inside. We were so amazed by the taste, it actually tasted like crab! Sadly the portion was a bit small, I wanted more! Toshi-San told us this dish took more than 3 hours to marinate and prepare, such delicate work! For the Mains, we ordered saikyo-yaki foie gras risotto and salmon confit. The salmon tasted good, the sauce was a special one. But it was relatively ordinary and I will try another main dish next time. The foie gras risotto was SUPERB! My husband cannot stop praising it afterwards and said he missed it EVERY day. The Foie gras melted in our mouths, the risotto was creamy. We enjoyed the savory dishes a lot more than the dessert chocolate crème brulee, but I wish to try another dessert next time. It is an excellent value for the price. We would definitely visit again and again! Thank you Toshi-San!
