Shangri-la

This apartment looked like such a great find. However, it seems that when new units become available they are renovated and then gentrified the heck out of any reasonable range of price. $2200 a month places are $1,000 a month more now. Yeah, THIS is the housing problem. You guys are making this happen.

My wife and I showed up today for a scheduled 10am showing and found the office locked, and nobody around. Called the corporate office who simply provided me with the on-site phone number that I already had. I understand that situations may arise which could’ve necessitated a reschedule, but the least we deserved was a phone call. If the on-site property management folks can’t handle showing a unit, do you really want to trust them with the day to day if you were a resident?

I think a lot of these reviews are based on previous management. I moved in in November 2015, and so far, my experience has been great. The three people I have met so far that are part of the leasing and maintenance departments have been nice and professional. I had to get a couple of things fixed around here and all of them have been done very dependably. To be honest, I haven't had too much interaction with the staff here, but when I have done so, it was all good. The location is a real pleasure. I was happy with the view I had. Hadn't had a real reason to use any of the amenities, I never did at my previous apartment either so if those are very important to you, you should check them out yourselves, I never even bothered to look. Haven't really had a negative experience so far and I have no plans of leaving this place anytime soon :)

I've lived here for 1 year and I do believe the management team is doing a good work. They are capable of reminding people about the common area access and provide timely response to residents' inquiries. It would be more convenient for the folks if off-work bus route 27 can be on time, which seldom happen. The rent is pricy if you consider the age of the property. But if all season lake view is what you're looking for, you will not be disappointed.
