Came here for a meal for the first time with some friends, and I was very pleasantly surprised. I've known people that have been here and have recommended it, but I've never had the time to try it. The restaurant is a very small, authentic Italian. The staff were very polite, and the menu was very standard Italian cuisine. The pizzas were very tasty, and I even had the fruit pizza (very controversial I know, but I would definitely recommend it). They say they don't sell many fruit pizzas but I really enjoyed it, who'd have thought apple's, bananas, pineapple and raisins work on pizza! We also got some wine which we shared, and all beers/lagers are bottled. The mains were very tasty. My only critiques would be they tell you what the specials are on the board because if you're sat upstairs you wouldn't know, and they had some lovely vegan options I wish I saw, but by the time I saw the special board I'd already ordered. They also did custard with the apple pie which isn't mentioned, but I asked for custard and they did do it which is good. The desserts were also not piping hot so maybe that as well. But in general a very good and tasty experience

Firstly thankyou to the lovely staff who were very polite and attentive. This is the best lasagne I've ever had! As a slightly fussy eater (due to textures) I was a little sceptical to try this but It beautiful. I feel like no words can describe this well enough. I also had the cheesy garlic bread which was just melt in your mouth! The portion sizes are bigger than I expected and deffinatly fills you up! Worth the money and more. Thankyou for a lovely experience, I will be returning!!

This place is like a vintage family restaurant. Food was good, would call it American-Italian though. Quite tasty, generous portions, moderate prices. Lasagna was quite good, pizza was OK (can't really complain, but it wasn't amazing, maybe on the smaller side for a pizza), garlic mushrooms could do with more garlic (generous portion though) and scampi was good. Service was great! Edit: tried it again, food (soup of the day, garlic bread, pizza, Caesar's salad) was great and service was excellent once more! Very homey place.
