The home made pasta dishes were nice and the venue is cosy & authentic with friendly staff. I think bread is needed to help top up the meals a bit.. I didn't even get any bread with my soup starter! But I enjoyed our visit.

Really, really enjoyed our meal here. Excellent food, generous portions and friendly, attentive service. I thought the whole vibe and feel of the place was incredibly unique and welcoming. To be personally greeted by the chef and shown a menu which clearly exhibits great love and care added a lovely touch to an overall faultless experience. 10/10

Visited on a slightly quiet Friday eve, after a trip to The Bear down the road for some beers. Absolutely loved everything - the Burrata to start, the proper aperol spritz (not watered down with loads of soda water and ice!), and the fresh salmon ravioli. A true gem in Sheff.

The most wonderful hidden gem! Service was delightful- it felt like you were eating in the host and chefs’ kitchen, the nicest feeling. The caponata was delicious, and the mozzarella so creamy and tasty. Springy and lovely fresh pasta, great ragu, and a lovely atmosphere. I’d leap at the chance to come here again! Long live BLP!

We booked the restaurant for our wedding reception and Stephen and his team did an amazing job. We were made to feel super welcome, the kitchen was covered in endless trays of handmade pasta and course after course of our bespoke menu was brilliant.
People got so jealous when desserts came out that we ended up having little tasters of all the incredible ice creams that Stephen makes - the blackberry leaf ice cream was insane.
We had such a good time and will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much!
