Just had cos n chips from here and it was beautiful! Those poor lasses and the owner working behind that counter in this heat deserve medal. Will make this a regular thing now going her once or twice a month.

Visited Sheffield for the weekend & wanted to try a local dish. Found out that "fishcakes" are done a little differently here and after reading a few online articles, decided to try my first fishcakes at Two Steps following the recommendations. And oh my god was it good! Crispy batter, fondant potatoes, tasty fish. My only regret is that I didn't buy two because the first one finished so quickly. I would highly recommend Two Steps & of course their fishcake- a Sheffield speciality!

The fish is absolutely superb, lots of complaints about the batter on here, granted it could occasionally be a bit thinner but still manages to be suitably delicate. A proper chippy, best in Sheffield in my opinion and the staff are always a delight!
