Giraffe Meadowhall

Two words. Bloody lovely. Cuban sandwich was superb but you know what, you can stick your 10% service charge where the sun don't shine. I paid it because I was going to leave more than the amount any way. Much as I enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere I won't be returning, shame because it's not my first visit. I don't recall the addition to the bill previously so don't know if it's a new thing.

Had not been to Giraffe in ages but always has a positive experience in the past and this time was no exception. Food was really nice and the service was excellent except a tiny let down that our starters weren't cleared before the mains arrived. I was more than happy to pay the optional service charge that was automatically added to the bill.

Awesome. No queue, courteous to the extreme. Fast service and a check back. Even double checked if we would like to leave the tip on or take it off. Exceptional service and the name on the receipt is Abbie. Deserves a well done from her manager. I had katsu curry. Tasted like katsu, medium spice level, served with noodles, nice crispy chicken. At £12 it was at the upper end of what it should cost I. E. YoSushi has it for £8, but worth it for the service. Daughter has vegan burger and was impressed at how tasty it was. My only negatives are watch the prices. I think no queue = bit pricier than competitors. And the booths are quite tight. Worth a visit.

Nice restaurant. The vegan menu is a little limited when it comes to the variety of food, but they did still have vegan options. We had the chicken katsu curry and the Korean BBQ chicken with a coconut latte. Was nice food, but it is spicy, so if you cannot handle your spice at all then maybe try something you know definitely won't be spicy. My mouth was on fire

First time visiting yesterday, wasn’t too busy. Food service was quick and the waiter serving us was fast and efficient. All of us absolutely loved our meals. I had the Thai duck stir fry and it was phenomenal. Only slight issue was long wait for the bill even though we had quite a few staff walk past our table and ignore the fact we were ready to leave which I would understand if it were busier. Apart from this everything else was perfect and we will be visiting again ! I recommend.
