Another on my visit of 14th January 2026 in support of pubs during such a hard time in the calendar. Fantastic ales and a treat on draught of a triple brewery colab that at 12% was both immense and stunning.
Fantastic, atmospheric, proper, friendly, traditional boozer selling a wide range of local beer. Plenty of places to sit inside plus a beer garden. If you want a real English pub, this is a must visit place.
Excellent beer 🍺. No food options other than crisps. But you don’t go to the Shakey for eats!! …
How do you begin a review for this pub to do it justice - it’s so good! Marvel at the decor, savour the quality of the cask ales and bask in the ☀️ on the terrace. Enjoy‼️
Lovely pub with well kept cask. Great beer garden if you want to sit outside and a plethora of beer paraphernalia on the walls inside to keep you occupied for hours.
