Now, this is a little gem of a pub brilliant staff. Good beers. The locals are absolutely friendly

I am disabled with a terminal illness, they let me bring in my mobility scooter into the pub, they are so understanding with my condition. The staff are very friendly good mannered, not only that in these days I feel that I can't go into town at night because you hear on the news that someone has been attacked, but in my mind I can go into town go into The Lord Nelson pub, have a great time in the company of other people and feel safe. Then I can just call for my taxi or even the staff will call for one on your behalf and that is why I have put this review, and I have given 5 star rating but if the rating was higher I would give a 10 star 🌟 rating. Thankyou to you all at the Lord Nelson cheers Craig.

Terrific pub. John, the landlord, is welcoming and serves an excellent pint. The regulars were also welcoming and the beer was spot on! Decent price too at £3.50

I visited the lord nelson on Friday as my wife played darts there what a cracking pub this is wish I lived in Sheffield so I could visit more the bar staff are excellent 👌 the Guinness was like drinking milk brilliant thanks all the staff

Proper Boozer, really lovely staff. Came in for a pint on Thursday night as a group of us and were looked after. Will be back when down this end of town 👍

Wow never expected it to be so good, just like pubs used to be ,the wife and I used to go in 1978 when it was called Fanny's, brilliant atmosphere, we are planning a return with some of the family soon
