My friend booked for 3 of us for lunch today and we were very satisfied with the food and service we received. The meals are very good value, the quality of food was excellent. I wasn’t expecting my food to be so tasty but the young lady who prepared my 5 oz rump steak cooked it to perfection - the accompanying chips, mushrooms, and onion rings were also very tasty. Will definitely be eating there again and would recommend to anyone wanting good value, well cooked food.

We popped in for a quick lunch and were disappointed that the new menu didn’t have the fantastic meat-free burger on it. However, this made us choose something else and we were not disappointed!
The milk chicken burger was succulent and tasty, the ‘extra fish’ fish ‘n’ chips great value, but the biggest WOW was the sizzling halloumi platter which was A-MAY-ZING!!!
Lovely, friendly staff in a comfortable setting made this an absolute pleasure.
Thank you - we will be back!

Had a really nice meal. Simple food but good quality with very good service. Good value for money. Has improved greatly from last visit and will return again. Would like to see more beer from local breweries.

Everything was great, food, service and cleanliness were all top notch. We go out on a regular basis and it's unusual for everyone to be happy with their meal but Tuesday was a triumph, which was great because it was my choice of venue, many thanks Jenny

This is a lovely local pub. The staff are fantastic and really make the place: Matt, Claire, Joe, Amy, Ollie, Jenny and all. They are incredibly helpful and accommodating and I can’t praise them enough. The food is quite good: had two lovely meals from the new menu recently.

We popped in to the pub and had a meal while the car was being serviced locally and so pleased we did. A lovely friendly pub and Matt who served us did a great job. The food came quickly and pipping hot and it’s not typical chain pub , but proper home cooked food ( the batter on the fish was 10/10 ) so light and crispy and moreish. We have learned this is a new menu and I can’t recommend it enough. I will certainly be back soon for another meal.

Popped in to try the NEW menu which has some great updates including our fav - Gyros ! Which didn’t disappoint … and as always Matt and team looked after us with a friendly smile and lovely service … great pub!

We had Mother’s Day lunch today and Matt and the team were amazing. We were a party of 10 and they catered to us wonderfully. Very friendly, made us laugh and the entire experience was lovely. This was our first visit but won’t be our last!

Cosy pub with friendly helpful staff who worked together as a team to make it a lovely visit with a nice atmosphere. Matt went out of his way to make us all feel welcome (5 adults, 5 children) as did the lady serving on the bar. The kitchen staff made sure our meals were exactly what we wanted and it arrived within a reasonable time and all served together.
Not usually a fan of sizzling pubs but enjoyed this visit and will definitely return.

Great meal great price really tasty . Nice and cosy warm restaurant. Staff really pleasant and helpful . Will visit again . 10 of use pre-booked in the morning . All our food arrived at the same time . So all my members of my group eat at the same time
