Fabulous as ever! The Purple Lobster in Oughtibridge is definitely the best chippy for miles around. It’s always busy but it’s always service with a smile and they do gluten free Wednesdays and Saturdays. We had gluten free chips and sausages tonight and ate in and it was excellent.
This was our 3rd or 4th time visiting our most local chippy and sadly, the past couple of times we have been left feeling rather disappointed. The staff are nice and friendly enough - only reason for not giving 5 stars was the two ladies …
