The Breadtalk outlet with the best bread and pastry! Customer service was great, salesperson is fluent in English. The Bountiful Fortune (CNY special bun) sold in this outlet tastes the best (compared to other outlets), with generous salted egg yolk filling and floss. The salted egg yolk was rich and salty!

came here once with my family. we ordered one of those ice-cream sandwiches, we asked the female employee if we could eat-in. before taking the money she and the other staff members all said "yes" when we got our food and sat down at the table - like 10 seconds later one of the employees came up and demanded that we leave because the meal we ordered wasn't valued to $50. so pretty much you are only allowed to dine here if you spend upwards of $50 we advised them that we were told that we can eat-in. but the employees just ignored us and pretended that never happened. the store manager at the time then without warning called the security team. while we are in shock and still trying to process what is going on - the security team began to escort us out of the store while making a scene with the sole purpose of pointlessly humiliating us in front of everyone. they (the employees) took our food but never to refunded our money to this day. We brought this matter to the attention of the head office but they simply just brushed it off by saying that they will talk to the people working there and get back to me; that was in 2016 – still nothing. It crazy because it seems like the employees simply just planned this out in their sick minds as soon as we walked in. but I want to know is simply ‘why?’ – like why target some random people who you never met, who are just here to enjoy their holidays? What would you have achieved in performing such acts? Also the fact that their head-office hasn’t got back to us, like forget about the money for a second, if someone was to just simply apologize instead of ignoring it like my family and I are nothing – just goes to show that BreadTalk doesn’t just DO NOT care about their customers, but they also encourage foul behavior like that from their employees. There has been other victims who say that similar thing happened to them – one thing I have noticed that all the sufferers are people of color. So this does raise the question – “Is BreadTalk encouraging prejudice and discrimination?”

Bought bread there with 2 black friends of mine. We sat down to eat while one friend bought drink in the adjacent store. Store worker came and yelled at us to get out because we weren't allowed there. She ignored every other customer and came to us. She never asked any questions or anything just yelled. I refused to leave because our friend was ordering something. She came back and yelled at us even louder to get out. All the other customers looked at us yet noone said a word. Never felt so embarrassed and disrespected I'm my life. So sad after the Starbucks incident. You'd think people would be more aware but they aren't. Shame on you for hiring a worker like that!!!
