Mondo Mio is located at Robertson, serving up an array for Southern Italian food. The signature dishes such as the Pasta Mondo Mio is outstanding. Sunday - Thursday deals are available 12-7pm as well, where ordering a Grill Item will give a Pasta / Pizza on the house. A great date night for 2, and priced reasonably. Recommended !

We just chanced upon this place while walking around for dinner. The 3 dishes ordered one of them was not available (eggplant) and two staffs came over to tell us the same message( maybe just a sign of incoherent teamwork); and the other table of people came after us got their table set and dinner bread served right away while I had to asked for our dinner bread. The most disappointing was actually the food, the gnocchi was over cooked in watery tomato sauce that was plated terribly, gin and tonic had bitter aftertaste, the place had no vibe either…. So definitely don’t recommend and not coming back

Mondo Mio was our place of choice for lunch today and it turned out to be the right decision. A Southern Italian themed restaurant, the ambience was homely and the staff friendly. We ordered the Pane All' Oglio or garlic bread for starters. The bread was warm and crusty and the fresh garlic and melted butter topping was just right. We also had the Casarecce Mondomio which is the restaurant's signature pasta. It was cooked just right and the meaty flavours combined well with the cream and truffle oil to make it an unforgettable experience. The Toscano (?) Pizza was thin crusted and freshly out of the oven. We loved it's tangy, earthy flavours! We'll definitely be back!

Love ❤️ this restaurant. We wondered in for an early dinner on a Monday. It’s not busy so we had very quick food service. We sat inside, and it has a warm and cosy ambience. Staff is friendly but unobtrusive. Portions are generous. We had the Special Deal (free pasta or pizza with a mains order) so it is really good value. The Fillet Steak (we have it medium rare) is amazing. Calzone is huge! My Caesar’s Salad is fresh! Would come again! Would recommend this restaurant.

First time here. We were very impressed when Ganesh approached us with smile and ready to serve. He prompted us to choose any seating that we liked and he was so patient when I said the chair was shaky, he got me 3 different chairs to try and I was so touched by his patience and politeness. Food was okay, squid ink pasta and Parma ham pizza. When the Manager came over to ask us how the food, I said no good. His face changed and said the pizza was very popular and many ordered today. Then he walked away and did not appear to be ready to hear our feedback. Later Ganesh came back to check on us and same thing, he asked how was the food. We said pizza was not so good. Immediately he offered to change a new one for us. We declined his kindness as we were already done with dinner. We were certainly very impressed with his readiness to rectify and go extra mile for us. Wow! We will come back again because Ganesh cares! Because of Ganesh’s readiness to serve and make our dining experience more delightful, we will come back again. Thank you and highly recommended to look for Ganesh when you are dining in Mondo Mio.

Highly dishonest servers and long waits for mediocre food and half filled cocktail glasses. Our party arrived at 7 and ordered some appetizers and drinks to begin. There was an ongoing special of 1 free pasta or pizza with an order of a main. This special was the main reason we sat down at this restaurant. After taking our orders for drinks and alcohol, the waiters never came back to take our orders till 735pm when the special was over. We had asked if he would honor the deal since we had sat down prior and been waiting to order. He said "Yes, only for you because you look like an asian Vin Diesel". Found it offensive but I like Vin Diesel so I let it slide. We ordered 2 sets of the specials and several drinks and when the bill came, we were charged the full amount. After raising our concerns, he mentioned that he never offered the deal and because the order was entered at 740pm, they cant honor the special. He said he will try to ask the boss but came back and said the boss can only offer free dessert which we turned down. I asked to talk to the manager and he said the manager had left already but he had just come back from talking to him. I don't mind paying for the food I order but I am very disappointed by their lack of principle and honesty. I will never be coming back to this establishment again. Would give 0 stars if I could.
