The Marmalade Pantry (downtown)

Both the scallop & prawn pasta and the spicy crabmeat pasta were perfect. Love the texture of the pasta, cooked just right. The desserts (not pictured) were also surprisingly good. The ice cream used was of high quality and tasted really good with both the sticky toffee and the bread pudding. Will definitely be back!

Food was not too bad but honestly nothing really special for the price. We tried to book for a sat noon the day before and was told that they were fully reserved but will try to "squeeze" us in. But when we were there on the day itself, it wasnt full house haha. Maybe had cancelled reservations? No idea.. Dessert was good though! Loved the banana pie alot! Generous serving of grated chocolate. May come back again for their desserts.

Went over with a group of friends for lunch. Food and service were excellent, with dishes all arriving at about the same time, which was nice. Only took a pic of the pan seared barramundi unfortunately but dishes all nicely plated. Portions were generous and good value. Venue for this outlet was also very pleasant, airy and well spaced. Staff were attentive and very friendly.

A complete scam of a High tea set. Ordered the set at $68 for pick-up a few weeks ago from Downtown branch and received items that were completely different from what's advertised online! The egg and chicken filling in the sandwiches were SO thinly applied that you really have to look very hard to find it. The manager was very rude and unhelpful when confronted with a photo and website description of the set. He kept insisting that the menu has changed but not updated on the website. He finally caved in and gave me extra 2 thumbsized lemon tartlets which were shown in the website description. On top of that, he also added, "Maybe you're having a bad day!" That was very uncalled for and honestly, I think he should be disciplined (i.e. sacked) for making such a remark to a customer who was just trying to reason nicely. Also tried their mushroom risotto and kimchi rice ,agree with other reviewers that the food is expensive and bland.
