Delicious food and clean table. The only bad thing is tables nearer to the outside, doesn't have sun shades to block the sun. I thought i was eating in a sauna. Otherwise it will be 5 stars rating

Too many old school hawker stalls here to mention, many have been around for years too. Food here is more the traditional hawker fare which is getting harder to find in SG. Rent here is low and the hawkers can focus on selling quality food at lower prices without cutting corners, unlike the modern day bullsh!t food courts and hawker centers run by greedy operators.

A perfect bowl of mutton soup with yam rice at Jalan Besar Food Center. Everything is cooked till perfection. Highly recommended.

That halal Salai stall is world class. The Chilli dog is just right. The smoked chicken I had was heaven sent.
