Well, being a first timer visiting this restaurant which been staying at Bishan for many years will sound crazy at first... But it was really amazing to find that the food here was indeed very good. Worth the price that I've pay for it. Enjoy the food and was first greeted by a very polite gentleman called Joe. His proactiveness definitely caught my attention. He was patience and polite. He explained the menu in great details which was impressive. Could see his passion in his work. Well done Joe! Overall, nice cozy place for a good decent meal which I'll be there again for sure. Not going to comment if the restaurant is spacious or have limited seats/tables. No comparison with other similar restaurants or other branch/outlets of the same establishment. Weekday lunch time can be quite packed and I always try to be there after 1:30pm. Easier to get a table then. Not that I am a regular patron but I always like the set lunch! The food are well portioned and have a good selections too. Referring to set lunch menu. I usually go for the salmon with pasta(pictures in the post). Service had always been prompt and server are polite. Maybe when they were little short handed(at times). So far, nothing negative about the establishment of this restaurant at Junction 8 whenever I was there. Look forward to my next visit! Maybe I will try something else instead of the salmon and pasta!

Been here few times, i feel the food standard may have dropped especially for the risotto. The cheese sausage and rosti cannot go wrong. The desserts portion was big! Service was good and they provide free water which is a plus! We were there for quite long and did not get an attitude or chased away even though was dinner time😊

1st time coming here and was quite blown away by the food (surprised by how atas the quality is in a heartland mall) and well as speed of service. Walked in on a Thursday night for dinner and took about 30 mins queuing time with 2 groups in front of us. Less than 5 mins after placing orders, the appetisers came out in the sequence of Soup, fries and drinks followed by mains. Duration of each main served is within 5 mins of waiting time. 👨🏻‍🍳 Portion size is quite generous for the pastas and good enough for the meat dishes with sides. Pastas had a good variety of noodle types and texture. 🍝 The Carbonara has a strong smokey bacon aroma which was really nice. Would like it if the bacon is slightly more charred. The edamame beans was a weird addition, and leek was a surprising addition that worked well. 🍝🍄 Mushroom Tagliatelle pasta has a grainy texture and sauce is very flavourful and cheesy. 🍗 L&H chicken thigh was a little small, but meat is very well marinated and grilled. Would appreciate if the broccoli is grilled than steamed. Black pepper sauce was phenomenal. 🧀🥔 Truffle fries has a generous portion, cheese is as a visual decoration. Was more impressed by the garlic white sauce that comes with it. Really rich and garlic flavour comes through so strongly. Fries were really crispy throughout the entire dinner. 🍄🍲 Mushroom soup is an okay addition. Mushroom smell not as strong. 🥃 Ice lemon tea is a little weak. Abit too diluted. I liked that you can pour your own syrup. Water is complimentary.

Below average food, average service, confusing order tracking system. Plating was a bit sloppy for a place charging restaurant prices. Ribs were bland and tough in some parts - like boiled pork. Burger was very dense and not burnt - seemed to be more baked than grilled. Order tracking was not very useful - only shows confirmed then being served (you don't need an app to see it's being served). Also got an email saying my order was complete, but took another 6 minutes for food to arrive, which isn't great considering how tiny the restaurant is and that we are being charged service charge.
