Prive Clarke Quay

Been to this place for 2nd time, food at Privé had never disappointed me and my wife. Service is great and the food is awesome! Nice ambience indoor and outdoor. Decided to take a selfie with one of the waiter called Helmi. Fantastic waiter with great enthusiasm and helpful heart to attend to our dinner. Spoke to him and he was humble and polite. Great staff. Pricing: Good Service Quality: 8/10 Food Quality:8/10 Ambience: Good.

Nice place and environment with friendly staff. First time dining with the Prive Group. But food quality is absolutely disappointing. The pizza was below average for a restaurant-standard Italian pizza. For this price, many places offer much better, more authentic oven-baked pizza. We tried the Hawaiian and Truffle pizzas. Hawaiian had cheap ham and pineapple cubes with a layer of cheese. That's all. You could tell me it was a frozen pizza from the supermarket and it would look like it. Truffle mushroom was better but still, nothing amazing. Truffle taste was mild. The Lobster pasta was relatively good. Sauce was tangy and I enjoyed the pasta. Gave a full lobster but this is nice for just the pictures, not so much to enjoy. Lobster tasted like it has been frozen for a while, lost every hint of its seafood sweetness. The flesh was even a bit "smelly" (though not spoilt), clear evidence that the seafood is a little old. But cannot really complain given that it's priced at $24 (usual lobster pastas are around $30+), just that potential customers should know what to expect. Overall, 2 stars for the nice environment and location. A star for the decent pasta.

Went early evening and there was only 1 other couple there. They served a truffled Swiss mushroom burger with Impossible Meat. A little overcooked but still tasty. The truffle oil was a little too overpowering. Also order the fish and chips. The fish and chips was disappointing as the batter was tasteless. But the fish quality was good with no hint of frozen taste.
