My go-to place after gymming upstairs in Cathay. Fast service, tasty sushi and quite a decent place to hang out. The Mega-San is suitable for an empty stomach but for me, I usually add a few other things like the chicken strips. Not too crowded during lunch - people seem to like to take away or eat it during their trip back to class/ office/ transport. Service pretty ok; during covid they were quite strict on what you can/ cannot do.

Ordered pick up on foodpanda and i got a huge sale from makisan which include one long roll of sushi and 3 chicken tempura sticks plus one canned drink, extremely value for money but if no sale then really expensive. Must order avocado, tempura enoki mushroom, egg in your sushi. Sometime i see it already open at 11:00 am

bought mega san and they actually forgot two ingredients ??? horrible considering the price i paid for it. they essentially overcharged me and gave me lesser than what i paid for.
by far one of the worst outlet lve been to,
giving me a wrong order when you can clearly see the order form indicating which ingredients should be included and still being able to mess it up? amazing

Their sushi is nice but the salad is terrible. Everything was bland. Even sweet corn is tasteless. Even with the sauce it still tasted terrible. I prefer Salad Stop, Daily cut or Salad fork anyday. MAKISAN please taste your salad.

A pretty long queue but fast moving. Service was good with friendly staff. Was alittle confused for first time ordering. In summary, customising your own sushi or salad. Pick the ingredients to go with and sauce you like for your main and there you go. The sushi roll was average and definitely hope that the ingredients could be fuller.

The salad was good but I went for the bigger size and I got a tiny portion lost in a huge bowl. 9.9$ for a salad, I would have expected at least twice the quantity.

If you're looking for quick and service charge less sushi you should try this. The creative part is a cool quirk. Grab the paper menu and a pencil and get cooking. It's on the basement level in the food court.
