Yi Zun Noodle

Wonderful 牛肉拉面. Surprisely good, flavourful clear soup & thinly sliced beef that is not over seasoned like typical China noodles places you find in Singapore. A new discovery that 拉面 can be simple and clean. The 炸酱面 and 冷面 are nice too, with simple garnish, not overly spicy and thus does not overwhelms the noodles . The 口水鸡 and 酱瓜 are well prepared, with good balance of taste. Maybe this is what it should be. Clean down to earth food that nurishes.

Authentic Xing Jiang beef noodles that is highly recommended. Ordered their signature clear beef soup noodles. The noodles were firm and straight. Tangy to the teeth. The clear beef broth was tasty and flavorful. However the beef portion was a bit dry and tough for my liking. The green in the noodles added a delightful refreshing flavor. Similarly the dry tomato noodles used the same firm straight noodles and the sauce was savory and with a strong tomato aftertaste. Beef wise was again too tough for my liking. Service was prompt and efficient. Ambience was clean, casual and cozy. Price wise was affordable and portion was big even for the small sized orders. Overall a good dining experience and authentic Xing Jiang taste.

Great halal Chinese restaurant near Mustafa Centre. They're known for their hearty yet simple beef la mian. Their handmade noodles alone are worth the trip to eat here as well. The fried eggplants are an absolute must try! You can't really go wrong with any of their dishes, as they kept their menu small and straightforward.

Note: they're currently only serving two types of noodles from their menu, so don't get your hopes up. I thought the sliced beef noodles were just average, but maybe they're just not my style. Pro tip: if you're ordering the sour plum drink, get separate glasses instead of a jar. It's so much more worth it.

The main dish being promoted on social media is the beef noodle, and yes indeed the noodle is handmade. I find that the minced chicken noodle really delicious and interesting that the toppings were served separately. The toppings were colourful so it was really pleasing to the eyes! Recommended for Muslims who like Chinese cuisine. The choice of drinks was limited to canned drinks and sour prune (which was really good!)
