The ramen here is rather authentic where you can ask for your preferred level of noodle thickness and the soup base.is aromatic enough. You will also find many Japanese dining here. The only let down for me is probably the service where you won't get a smile from the staff maybe because they are too busy or maybe they just don't bother.

The ramen is really good. It is very similar with Tokyo ramen. The broth is thick and full of flavor. The pork meat / chasiu is thick but juicy and tender. The place not really small but accomodotive. The noodle is soft. We can select the noodle cook stlye (soft to hard), the thickness of the broth, and the oil level of the broth.

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering the SIO ramen. It tasted like soggy yellow mee inside salt water. No strong tonkotsu flavor. Cha siu did not have any roasted flavor; tasted steamed? The egg is ok but it costs $2! So I guess i don't really like the ramen in this place. However the staff are decently nice.

I tried the shoyu donkatsu ramen which they recommended. Way too salty and oily. I could smell the pork in the broth, which a good kitchen and chef can cover. Didn’t really care for the donkatsu in the bowl - way too fatty. I also tried the vegetable salad which was ok, but again on the salty side. The bright side is they don’t charge for water or wet napkins.

Good service. Very good fried rice. Normal gyoza. Ordered the super thick Shoyu ramen. It’s overly thick for my palate. Decent but SG ramen is always bound to be fairly expensive compared to Japan. The noodles are thicker than the hakata style ones. The pork is very thinly sliced. Best to order 4 slices.

Absolutely cracking ramen and the service is super friendly. The ramen is iekei style and they let you choose the intensity of the ramen flavour as well.

Ambience and Cleanliness (3/5): Contemporary Japanese eatery layout in a shopping mall. English pop music was being played which killed the mood of a japanese eatery. I also spotted a small cockroach on my menu when I first sat down. Honestly a bit disappointed by this. Came across a few Japanese families who came here for lunch as well. Maybe this means that the food here is legit? Wifi here is free and you can connect using the password TAKEWAKA0443. Service (3/5): I like to come during off peak hours, so as to experience good service and avoid nasty crowds. I was greeted, served and had my meal cooked by the same guy. I guess its common practice to cut down on manpower during off peak hours? As a result, waiting time was about 15 minutes for a bowl of ramen. Not too bad. The guy knew his stuff and managed the crowd well. Food Quality and Taste (4.5/5): Wow. I wasn't expecting such a flavourful shoyu broth. That was refreshing! Noodles were springy and tasty, the tamago was cooked at the right temperature. The only drawback was that the broth was abit on the oily side. This is definitely a bowl of ramen that's comparable to the ones served in Yokohama. Overall (3.5/5): Honestly I was hungry and didn't have much of a choice when it came to choosing where to eat. I like the Japanese food street concept in Wisma, so I had to choose one of the shops here to review. The ramen quality and taste were great as described above. Worth a try if you are in the area.

This is the first time I’d been to a ramen place in singapore and they really customised the hardness of the ramen for me. Usually in places that offer the option of customisation, I would say they might as well not offer it. I love hard noodles and always ask for that, but had never gotten it the way I wanted it. This place really made the noodles taste so good! However, the soup base was a bit oily so I subtracted points for that, haha...
