The best Kunefe in Singapore. It’s like $17+ for one but it’s worth every single cent. The rest of the food is too pricey for me but I’ve tried it at times and they don’t disappoint too. Service is so good and the people there are so funny and there’s always high spirits and good energy when you spend your time there. Love the location, service, people and the food. A good example of a perfect restaurant.

There are vegetarian options available. However, I visited this Turkish restaurant for it’s crisp, authentic and creamy kunafe. It was crisp and surrounded by a creamy ocean of rich milk. I took a bite of this delicious dessert and was blown away. I think it perfectly embodies what you want to find in a dessert. The mint tea was hot and soothing . It was infused with rich flavour. A good experience.

Great Apple tea & Testi kebab Searched on google for the best Turkish tea and Derwish popped up. I’m not well versed in Turkish cuisine but for a first timer, I had a great experience here. I dropped by around 530pm for tea, and was recommend by the staff to try their Apple tea. It was delicious! Naturally sweet and light, it left me & my husband wanting more. We decided to try a meal for dinner and we landed on testi kebab as it was their specialty. I loved the presentation and it was a new and interesting experience for me. It is rather pricey being $29 for 1 pax but I feel that the serving was enough for 2-3 people. What made the experience wonderful was the service. The staff (I wish I got their names) were very attentive, helpful and kind. They always checked to make sure that we were happy with the meal and that we had what we needed. The lamb meat was very tender and fragrant. I loved how the flavours complemented each other and overall the meal felt very balanced - not too rich nor too subdued. Overall, I had a great experience! Loved the vibes when I sat outdoors, during some moments I felt I wasn’t in sg. Thank you Derwish for a lovely experience! Update: came back here for a second time and tried the kunefe. Delish! Just wish it was warmer when it was served to us, but overall had another great experience here thanks to the amazing and friendly service. 2nd update: came here during CNY for dessert. Was turned away because “dessert was not being served yet”. I waited for an hour and came back later and found out that the server was lying and he was just trying to pressure me to get a main dish. I I have patronised here more than 5 times and the service is normally exceptional. However this experience with the server was horrible and it disappointed me greatly as it’s honestly my favorite Turkish joint. Will probably try out others instead. The server apologised and gave me a discount but I would rather pay the full price and not be lied to nor treated like I’m a lesser customer just because I wanted to only have dessert. Please do not treat others the same way.
