Dal.komm Coffee

We were quite tired and hungry and just looked for some good food around. This is a Korean style coffee. It offers some simple dishes. We ordered the must-try Korean crab pasta. It tasted delicious with quite a lot crab meat and a bit spicy. And the fried chicken wings were great. The last one I can’t remember it’s name but it looks cute and tasted good. For drink, I ordered honey grape fruit, very fresh and cool. Overall, nice coffee for a casual meal.

I never looked away from Starbucks that is located in the same floor, but wanted to try something different today. Perhaps the dark decor never compelled me to go in dalkomm. From outside, It always felt to me more like a dirty bar place, but was so pleasantly surprised. The menu is much more expansive than Starbucks and many nice food/snack choices rather than those overly commercial choices at Starbucks. They have Korean inspired food, bread and cakes. This dalkomm sitting area’s window faces orchard. Lots of seating. Signs say long period of studying there not allowed however on weekday I saw some pp taking meetings there and there were plenty seating available. The seating area have 3-4 types - high table area, low couch and larger chair area, bench tables and loose tables. The seating types really caters to many different preferences. Service was good even though only ordered americano. Without frill they served me using mug, vs Starbucks that often give you the takeaway cup even if you say you are sipping cuppa at the store.
