I saw not exactly a lot of favourable reviews before i ordered. Other than avoiding the badly reviewed cod fish & chips, the rest was pleasantly delicious! The pasta, beef and grilled fish was particularly done very well. The market soup is super corny for people who prefers corn. The butter beer was pleasant to drink.

The red sauce was delicious . Seaweed butter was nice and the fish and batter was delicious. Not sure why the sourdough needed to burn . I would have prefer it toasted and brown . But nevertheless, a good fish and chip. Fries was crispy.

My first time here. Likely won't be returning. We ordered two kinds of fish and chips to try. Halibut and Cod. They were both served with mashed peas and tartar sauce. First the fish, batter was tasty and crispy. Halibut was nicely done but the Cod was overcooked and chewy. Chips were nice and crunchy, but the mashed peas and tartar sauce were almost non-existent.

Tried the haddock instead of the cod after seeing the reviews here about the inconsistency. My tablemate ordered the cod and it wasn't fully cooked 😱 However, the staff replaced it without a hitch. In the end, service charge was waived. Ok dining experience.

Food was mediocre, just average fried fish and chips. Mushy peas aren’t mushy peas, but rather a cream sauce. Service was really terrible, and we have FnB background so we tolerate a lot! We waited over an hour for 3 orders of fish and chips. There was no ambience - sat next to a group of 9 which was extremely loud and made us cut dinner short. Also sat right under an air conditioner which was freezing. They did turn it off on request but made the room very hot with large group. Would not recommend or return.

It's hard to find good fish and chips in Singapore. And my experience here proved me right. Nothing was to my liking. Service was bad. At lunch time, there was only one server covering ground and second floor seating.
